Not Gonna get us..

I applied some gloss on my lips and messed my hair a bit so it wouldn´t look that neat. When I was ready , I went downstairs to get something fast to eat for breakfast.

Andrew headed to his condo, and changed into a suit, and ran some errands.

I said mom bye before I walked out of home to make my way to school by feet .

A few hours after Dorthy's father had been shot his secritary had found him, soon the police arrived and calls were made..

Classes went by in a rush . When the end of the school day finally arrived, I walked to my locker and grabbed some books I would need for studying .

Dorthy's mother had one og the workers call her telling her of the news her mother to upset to even leave the house.

I walked to the school´s entrance and was utterly surprised to see Andrew waiting for me outside . He was leaning back against the hood of his car, with his arms crossed and he was wearing a suit.

Andrew sighed seeing Dorthy, he smiled faintly though. He uncrossed his arms and shoved them in his pockets

I should have been excited to see him , but I wasn´t . It scared me, in that moment, for some strange reason his presence.

Andrew sighed and looked down at his feet, he knew he was giving off a cold feeling a scary one at that he could tell by her face but that always happened after a hit.,

"Hey " I managed to say. I held tight to my hand the strap of my schoolbag.

He looked up at her, "Hi.." he smiled faintly, "Uh you haven't heard yet have you?" he muttered looking at her

"What was I supposed to hear ?" I asked him, not understanding.

"oh.." he thought and rubbed his jaw he sighed, "Your..uh father..he is.." he tried to think of a nice way of saying this he wasn't to having to be kind, "He passed.."

I stared at him wide eyed . I shook my head , it couldn´t be happening . He had to be kidding me . "You are lying ... "

"I wish I was,it's uh been on the news all day, as soon as I heard I came to see you.."

A lump formed in my throat . I dropped my bag on the ground and fell on my knees... My dad had always been careful , it couldn´t be him . What would I do ? What would happen next ? I started crying . I would never hug him again before he left to work . He would never be there again waiting for me at night.

Andrew sighed he rubbed his jaw and walked over to her and knelt down, "Want me to call your mom to pick you up?" he asked touching her shoulder lightly

I shook my head, my expression blank "I want to be alone " . Being with mom would just make it worse.

Andrew dropped his hand, "Okay just becareful..." he watched her for a moment, he actually felt bad and regreated what he had done. he scrubbed his face with his hands, he didn't want to leave her to be alone.

I didn´t even bother to wipe my tears away . In that moment the least I cared was if Andrew saw me crying.

"Is there anything I can do?" he asked looking at her

"No. He´s dead . There´s nothing we can do " I cried more.

Andrew sighed and sat cross legged across from her, "Come here.." he said looking at her

I hesitated before moving to sit on his lap and resting my head on his chest. "Take me out of here. I´m already making a scene" I whispered.
